Integrated Post Secondary Education Data System (IPEDS) The SEO collects and coordinates information on institutions of higher education in the District of Columbia from the annual US Department of Education Integrated Postsecondary Education Survey (IPEDS) and other surveys of District of Columbia postsecondary education data, with a variety of elements such as admissions statistics, financial aid programs, information on faculty, campus facilities, etc. This information is collected and sent to the National Center for Education Statistics where it is available for research purposes to individuals and institutions around the country.
